iCapture Loss Prevention & Detection Hidden Camera Range There's no nice way to put this - your staff could be stealing from you. Bars, restaurants, cafes and shops are all prime targets for staff pilfering from the till, lifting goods from your shelves or offering 'very special' deals to friends and family. Money is thrown at the problem of customer theft but staff theft is more insidious and much harder to track down. Face it, employees are in the perfect position to steal from your business; they are aware of the weaknesses in your systems and they know who the supervisors and security guards are. To make matters worse, staff typically steal more than customers and you're much less likely to recoup the stolen goods or cash. According to figures from the Centre for Retail Research (CRR), when a shoplifter is stopped they have an average of £45 on them, while the average amount a member of staff steals is a whopping £498. "The big difference with shoplifters is that 95% of the time you actually get the goods or the property back. With staff theft you only get an average of £35 back. And it's your profit that's walking out of the door, not turnover. If somebody is taking £10 a day on a turnover of £1,000 that's only 1% and you might think you can live with that. But if you're pulling in 6% profit (£60) on that £1,000, then thiefs are taking one sixth of your profits. These losses need to be seen as a percentage of net profit not of gross turnover. Of course it's not just retail stores that are at risk, any business that deals largely in cash transactions could fall victim to staff theft. So what can you do about it? The theft by employee cctv industry can be confusing with various people claiming to offer a service to capture the member of staff that is stealing from you. A lot of the time these people have had little training and very little experience in deterring or capturing evidence of the theft. At iCapture we are different we are practitioners and have several bespoke products and highly trained staff that can be supplied to the retail industry to protect your profits and products. We don't advertise our theft by employee cctv systems so you can't find them anywhere else, we pride ourselves on staying up to date within the cctv industry and use only the latest technology solutions for you. Our systems offer Fast installation by your staff, the equipment can be moved from one location to another in minutes and can be recorded locally or instantly viewed live anywhere in the world using the latest 3G or wireless technology. Whether you are after a recorder you can watch at your office or when your out of the office or a locally recorded system we have the product for you. I will say again you cannot buy our products anywhere else and they have all been specifically engineered and designed to protect your profits. All iCapture units are fitted with cameras to 700TVL which is the highest resolution camera below the High Definition spectrum. Most other systems incorporate cameras with 380 TVL or 540TVL, where the image clarity is less. In addition to this we also use the smallest and latest SD recorders in order to minimise the space needed for recording media and remove the sometimes difficult situation of hiding an older, larger recorder. All of our units are supplied with the recorder fitted into the device so the only cable required to the unit is power. iCapture recorders also record in full D1 resolution - 704 x 480 pixels - which is the highest resolution the CCTV system can record at. High end digital video recorders offer this resolution and only the highest end recorders can offer D1 resolution at 25 frames per second recording. We can also offer training to your security staff to fit and deploy our equipment, so why pay £400 to £500 to an external company to catch a member of staff stealing when your trusted members of staff can deploy our equipment for you. I will re-emphasise you will not find these products on the internet or anywhere else, we pride ourselves on protecting your profits.
